Purpose-built to safely fallen stock, it’s been developed with every detail designed around animal welfare, handler safety, and operational ease.
The trailer features ground-lowering air suspension — meaning there are no ramps, no lifting and no steep angles. Horses can enter and exit in a straight line, reducing stress and eliminating the risk of twisting injured joints or muscles. Inside, the ambulance is lined with 12mm rubber and built with smooth, radius corners — no square edges, no compromise. The soft-ride air suspension also reduces shock and vibration, both on the course and on the road, making it safer for horse, handler and surface alike. From the initial sketch to final testing, the Elston Horse Ambulance has been built with care, tested with rigour and is proven in the field.
